this is a comprehensive review evaluating the use fo allogenic stem cell transplantation as treatment fro adutls with acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL). he results of allogenic transpalntation for pateitns with ALL or philadelhia chromosome - positive ALL are described. The controversies regarding alternatiove donor transplantation, the variety of stem cell sources available, and the timing of transplantation are explained. Lastly, the results from donor lymphocyte infusions and the future use of immunoconjugates before and after transplantation are illustrated.
